• 4 Nutrave chicken drumsticks
  • 1 head of garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 25 ml of beer
  • Basmati rice
  • Parsley

Place the olive oil in a large pan and start to slightly brown the whole head of garlic. Without waiting too long, add the chicken drumsticks, salt and pepper and brown all sides on a high heat. Add the beer and leave the alcohol to evaporate.

Leave on a low heat and put the lid on the pan. Add a little water every now and then to prevent it from sticking and to facilitate the cooking process. The idea is to cook it very slowly.

In the meantime, cook the basmati rice in water with a little salt.

When the chicken is ready. Remove the drumsticks and separate the meat from the bone. Place the meat back in the pan and stir so that it is covered fully by the sauce.

Place the rice on the plate, after adding more salt and pepper, and add the chicken in the centre. Finally, some parsley can be sprinkled on top.
