It began its activity in 2004 in the Toledo town of Bargas and was run by three families from Toledo with extensive business experience in the meat sector. It is dedicated to the comprehensive processing of poultry. Its resources include a comprehensive production and distribution chain equipped with the most efficient, safest and most productive machinery and technology. It has 50 farms located mainly in Castile-La Mancha, mostly in Toledo. It has its own feed factory. 53 high quality chicken and hen products are packaged at its facilities, going beyond the strictest health and food controls. 280,000 chickens and hens are processed per week.
NUTRAVE has established a stable workforce of 180 workers, 50% of whom are women. The company is an example of employment integration and job placement, with 12 different nationalities working together. Indirectly, 500 workers from neighbouring municipalities are employed. National sales account for 75% of turnover, and exports 25%, with our products reaching Asia, Africa and Europe. All of this is the result of the daily hard work of the people who work at NUTRAVE.
